Facts about the Conversation Partner Program:

• The program is designed to provide language learners with opportunities to practice their English conversation skills with native English language speakers outside of the classroom. 
• While building communicative competence and fluency, ESL students also enjoy making new friends and learning about American culture. 
• The conversation partners meet informally in groups of 3-5 in the Johnson Building on the Arnold campus for one hour per week during the school semester. 
• The native English speakers are AACC students who are fulfilling service learning requirements. The volunteers benefit by meeting students from around the world and broadening their knowledge of foreign cultures.
