Youth Dance Classes
AACC’s Youth Dance Instruction program offers young dancers excellent instruction in a supportive, noncompetitive learning environment. It focuses on advancing student’s ability, knowledge and appreciation of dance. Students are given the opportunity to discover and develop their talents, energy and interest as they pursue their unique potentials as dancers.

YUT-898 - Dancing on Broadway: Act 1 (Grades 1-8)
Learn a variety of dance techniques including ballet, tap, jazz and more. Prepare stage sets, make costumes and props, and learn how to apply make-up. Participate in a performance.
YUT-809 - Youth Dance Festival (Grades 6-12)
This highly structured two-week program is for motivated dance students. Experience a supportive, noncompetitive learning environment. Cover a variety of styles and techniques including ballet, modern, hip-hop, African, music for dancers and Pilates.
KDS-804 - Dance Repertoire Workshop (Grades 9-12)
Push the limits of conventional choreography with new, innovative modern dance. Learn choreography and technique. Participate in a stage performance.
