25 Ways to Help Your Alma Mater!
Here are 25 things you can do to help AACC.
Share your experiences and make a difference in the lives of current students.

- Make an annual gift.
- Find out if your employer is a matching gift company.
- Ask if the business or company you work for would be willing to hire one or more summer interns from AACC or provide service learning opportunities for students.
- Invite all the graduates in your major (e.g. history), as well as the professors to an afternoon get together.
- Encourage your neighbors' and friends' children to consider applying for admission to AACC.
- Get a small group of friends from AACC and ask if they might be willing to make an annual joint gift to your college to support a favorite activity.
- Ask if the company or business you work for may be willing to donate needed new or used equipment to AACC.
- Volunteer to come to campus and make a presentation before an appropriate class.
- Ask if your company or business would consider making an annual gift to AACC in support of an area of study of direct interest to the company.
- Volunteer to become a mentor to one or more students in an area of professional expertise.
- Help with campus tours.
- Organize a group of fellow graduates to contact state and federal legislators about the need for supporting public higher education at AACC.
- Ask if there are students who may need tutoring.
- Lead a small fund-raising effort for your favorite scholarship, academic department or division at AACC.
- Volunteer to work in the library or other areas of AACC where your skills and experience may be helpful.
- Teach a course on campus.
- Develop a Fan Club for your favorite sport and faithfully boost its activities.

- Volunteer to serve on the Alumni Steering Committee.
